  • Dr. James D'Amico

Cumberland Dental Arts is excited to announce a new addition to our team!
Dr. James D’Amico is a Maine native having graduated from Brewer High School and going on to get his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Maine. After years working as an engineer, he came to the realization that he was meant to help fix people, not machines. With this new goal set, he quit his job and refocused himself on becoming a dentist, taking all the necessary coursework while working in a dental office to gain a better understanding of the field. He was accepted to dental school in just over a year and then proceeded to get his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. He has since returned to Maine and is happy to be practicing in the state he loves and calls home.

Dr. D’Amico is committed to providing comprehensive quality care in a relaxed manner, making sure that each and every patient is able to make well informed decisions about their own health with an honest dialog and shared partnership. When he isn’t making healthy smiles, he can be found enjoying the Maine outdoors, tinkering on his many unfinished projects, and spending time with his friends, family, and fuzzy friends.
