  • Dr. Caitlin Kauffman

Dr. Kauffman was raised in the farmlands of eastern Pennsylvania where her father practiced dentistry, and her mother dental hygiene. After graduating from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Plant Biology and studying in India as a Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Kauffman decided to follow in her parents' footsteps and become a dentist. She graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with honors and trained at The Albert Einstein Medical Center as a general practice resident. After 6 years practicing in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Kauffman is thrilled to return to the east coast to be closer to family.
Dr. Kauffman loves practicing dentistry because she enjoys the combination of science and art, while building relationships with both her patients and team. She is a dedicated practitioner, an avid listener, and truly cares about her patients' well being.
When Dr. Kauffman is not practicing dentistry, she dedicates her time to her family and spends as much time as possible with her twin girls. She looks forward to introducing them to cycling, swimming, and gardening, some of Dr. Kauffman's pastimes, and also secretly hopes that one (or both) may find themselves in the family profession.

  • Darcy - Dental Hygienist

Darcy began her love for the dental field in 2008 by attending Dental Careers Institute, in South Portland, Maine. There she received hands-on training and experience for a certificate in dental assisting.  After completing the dental assisting course, Darcy started work immediately as an oral surgeon’s assistant in Bath, Maine from 2009 to 2015.  Although oral surgery is extremely interesting, Darcy knew that her goal was to become a dental hygienist, and join a team where the focus is on preventative and patient centered care.

Darcy continued to assist in oral surgery while working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at The University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.  While attending UNE, Darcy received the Oral-B Excellence in Chair Side Education award, Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges award, and graduated in 2015 Magna Cum Laude.

When she is not helping patients in maintaining optimal oral health and having the best dental office experience possible, she is found appreciating Maine’s beautiful outdoors.  She likes to spend time with her husband Adam, and dog Frankie, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and fishing.

  • Regina - Dental Hygienist

Regina grew up in Gorham Maine. After attending University of Maine in Orono, she was given the opportunity to work as a dental assistant in Portland where she worked for 6 years. With a solid background in restorative dentistry, Regina is a well rounded hygienist who cares deeply about the oral health and overall wellness of her patients. When sheʼs not educating her patients on the importance of oral care, she loves spending time with her siblings and husband, Eddie.
